The Perak Innovation Convention 2026 concluded today with a clear message: technology and innovation are no longer just ideas for the future, but are actively being developed and translated into meaningful solutions for Perak today.
The convention’s closing ceremony was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani bin Mohamad, Menteri Besar of Perak, who also presented awards to the winners of the IPT Power Pitching Competition, Mini STEM Competition and Best Exhibition Booth awards across various categories.
During his visit to the Digital Perak exhibition booths, the Menteri Besar also explored the progress of several technology-driven and artificial intelligence initiatives, including SIHAT AI and STEM AI. These initiatives demonstrate how AI can be transformed from technological innovation into practical solutions that address the needs of the people while supporting talent development across the state.
From AI applications in health and well-being to AI-driven education and talent development, Digital Perak continues to advance the state’s digital transformation agenda towards a smarter, more inclusive and impactful ecosystem.
Held over two days, from 6 to 7 October 2026, the convention brought together a diverse range of innovations, emerging technologies, robotics and creative ideas showcased by local students, educators and innovators. Their contributions highlighted the immense potential of local talent and innovation to strengthen Perak’s competitiveness and drive sustainable progress.
As the convention draws to a close, its message remains clear: the future of Perak will be shaped by how effectively technology, innovation and artificial intelligence are harnessed to create meaningful impact for its people and the state.
