IPOH – Digital Perak recently welcomed an official visit from the Director of Health for Perak, YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Feisul Idzwan Dato’ Mustapha, together with the senior management team of the Perak State Health Department, to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the pilot implementation of the Sihat AI Smart Health Kiosk initiative.

The visit included a strategic engagement session focused on evaluating the potential integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and telehealth technologies in strengthening the delivery of public healthcare services. Discussions centred on how digital innovation can enhance healthcare accessibility, efficiency, and responsiveness while supporting the evolving needs of communities across the state.

The programme was followed by a site visit to the operational kiosk located at the Perak Techno Trade Centre (PTTC), where delegates were given an in-depth overview of the kiosk’s implementation, operational effectiveness, and user adoption. The visit provided valuable insights into the role of smart healthcare solutions in complementing existing healthcare services and improving patient experience.

This initiative represents a significant example of cross-agency collaboration in advancing Perak’s Digital Economy agenda, particularly within the broader vision of developing a Smart State. Emphasis is placed on delivering more inclusive, accessible, and high-impact healthcare services through innovative digital solutions that cater to the needs of diverse communities.
