The Perak State Digital Economy Action Plan 2030 (PTEDNP 2030) Update Workshop was held over three days, from 21 to 23 September 2026, at Hotel Impiana, Ipoh.
The workshop was organised following the decision of the Perak State Digital Economy Council (MEDi) Meeting No. 1/2025, held on 16 December 2025, to ensure that the initiatives outlined in PTEDNP 2030 remain relevant, responsive and aligned with current needs and the evolving digital economy landscape in the state.
The key focus of the workshop was to review and update the initiatives under PTEDNP 2030, including the alignment of roles and responsibilities among implementing agencies for each identified initiative. This exercise aimed to clarify implementation responsibilities while strengthening accountability, delivery effectiveness and the overall feasibility of each initiative.
This initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Perak State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN), in collaboration with Digital Perak Corporation Holdings (Digital Perak) as the MEDi Secretariat, to strengthening the planning and implementation of Perak’s digital economy agenda.
