Digital Perak continues to strengthen its role as the Digital Economy and Smart City Lead Agency for the State of Perak through its participation as a strategic exhibitor alongside Gamuda Technologies at the ASEAN-China Ministerial Roundtable on Construction and Housing 2026 (ACMROCH 2026), held on 1 August 2026 at AC Hotel by Marriott, Ipoh.
The opening ceremony was officiated by YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Housing and Local Government. Held from 31 July to 2 August 2026, ACMROCH 2026 brought together delegates from ASEAN member states, the People’s Republic of China and the ASEAN Secretariat to discuss strategic cooperation towards sustainable urban development, quality housing provision and the development of more resilient communities.
Digital Perak’s participation in ACMROCH 2026 served as a strategic platform to showcase various digital transformation and smart city development initiatives being driven across the State of Perak. Together with its strategic partner, Gamuda Technologies, Digital Perak highlighted an approach centred on Artificial Intelligence, data analytics, the Internet of Things and smart digital technologies to bridge gaps in urban modernisation, strengthen public service delivery, enhance data-driven decision-making and foster a smarter, more sustainable, resilient and people-centric urban ecosystem.
